Hello Bloomfield families,
I am writing this letter to thank each and every one of you who has contacted me with words of encouragement and congratulations on my new appointment as principal of Bloomfield High School. Please know that this year is going to be a very special one. We will showcase the excellent scholars who grace the classrooms, corridors and fields of our prestigious and historic institution.  This year we will place a heavy focus on developing the habits that will lay a strong foundation for future success.  The components of the foundation will consist of Preparedness, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and a high personal standard of Excellence. (P.R.I.D.E.)

The theme of this school year will be Unity. This includes unity among our students, staff members, parents and the greater Bloomfield community.  I am a firm believer that when we work together, there is nothing that we cannot accomplish. We look forward to a system of increased accountability and high standards. To that end, we will need your assistance in holding our children accountable to complete each and every assignment that they are assigned; to get to class early; to excel and be their best selves each and every moment of the day; to truly raise the bar and push each other to excel at every task that is presented to them.

We look forward to collaborating with you to take Bloomfield High School to the next level. We will prepare every student to become a life-long learner, who reads closely, thinks critically, asks questions, solves problems and communicates effectively.
